I am doing a dual degree. I am getting a bachelors from one school and an associates from another. Can I use federal aid to pay for one school and a private loan from a lender like Sallie Mae to pay for the other? I dont want to get into any trouble but I dont have the money to pay out of pocket.

I know that if you took out a 100 dollar loan at 10% interest you would owe 110 in a year, but how does it work for a Variable interest rate and why does that number also seem to change.
