I’m approved for VA loan on the mortgage. The owner and myself are trying to keep it from forclosing. Not much money. Income, but the motgage company has been difficult to deal with and might just say I don’t qualify. How do I know that isn’t BS and fight for my rights to refinance and continue payments? I would go to a lawyer right now, but wouldn’t I have to pay a lot?

Our mortgage broker is encouraging us to wait for the interest rates to fall again despite the fact that they have increased steadily for the past three weeks. Is there a monetary incentive for him to lock us in higher? We are paying 1 point for a better rate.

We would like to move into a bigger home. We live in a small condo that we paid a lot for. We will never get as much for it as we owe for our loan, but we have out grown it. We are not in a foreclosure situation because we are making the payments on time without a problem. If we sell our home for less than it is worth, can we add the balance of our mortgage onto the mortgage of a new home, or will we owe the bank the balance right then and there?

I have tried marketing to Mortgage Brokers with very little luck. Who else might be interested in them? What brokers that I have not called might want them. What is a good price to sell each lead for? Right now we are asking less than a penny a lead. All leads are organized by state. They include addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks a lot.
