I need at least ,000 for this first year of school. I’ll be starting this fall and I’ve been trying to get a job and have gotten no calls back for an interview. Even if I got a job next month I would only make about ,000. I’ve been applying for scholarships but those are kind of in the air you don’t know if you’ll get any money out of it. What is a way I could make money and fast besides being a stripper or anything like that. I was thinking of trying to start a small business online or something but even a small one needs start up money and probably more than 6 months to get going. Are there any things you guys have done that got you money fast for college? Any tips or advice?
I don’t want to take out loans because then I will have to pay like double of what I took out.
Also my dad is being a beezy about me going to college and I’ve asked him for his information for FAFSA but because this doesn’t benefit him he doesn’t really care.

Will FAFSA student loans pay for off-campus housing?
Thursday, February 25th, 2010I am going to Metropolitan State of Denver and they don’t have dorms, they have "student houses" that are on the campus. You still have to pay "rent" every month and so on. I googled this and it said "private loaning places" can do these type of loans.
I am confused. For my situation, what is the best thing for me to do? Becuase living off campus is cheaper then a dorm (even if my college had one)
