I’m behind on my private student loans (my federal loans are up to date) I’ve been trying to work with the company to create a payment plan I can afford and they are telling me if I dont pay the current arrangement they will take my entire tax return for the 2009 year. I know if they are federal loans they can do that but these are private, does anyone know how that works?
Even if they are not federally guaranteed loans??
