My wife and I are building our first house. The closing date on the house is April, 25, 2009. Thats a little over 2 months. Should we start shopping around for the best mortgage rate now or wait until 1 month before closing date? Any advice(s) on mortgage lender is welcome. Thank guys!

Friday, November 27th, 2009my mom is still paying for the land we’re on now and we want to build a house or buy a modular home and use the same land, however, no mortgage company will let us unless the land is deeded to us. a dealer mentioned an option called partial release but i don’t understand what that is or how to do it or if there is a difference between that and deeding. please help! thanks!
