I need at least ,000 for this first year of school. I’ll be starting this fall and I’ve been trying to get a job and have gotten no calls back for an interview. Even if I got a job next month I would only make about ,000. I’ve been applying for scholarships but those are kind of in the air you don’t know if you’ll get any money out of it. What is a way I could make money and fast besides being a stripper or anything like that. I was thinking of trying to start a small business online or something but even a small one needs start up money and probably more than 6 months to get going. Are there any things you guys have done that got you money fast for college? Any tips or advice?
I don’t want to take out loans because then I will have to pay like double of what I took out.
Also my dad is being a beezy about me going to college and I’ve asked him for his information for FAFSA but because this doesn’t benefit him he doesn’t really care.

It’s hard to apply for FAFSA because I live with my parents and it’s hard to get my dad to give me his information. Plus he makes enough so that I won’t get very much FAFSA money but he doesn’t want to help me pay for college.
Our Walmart is bout and hour and half away.

My Mother died suddenly and unexpectedly in surgery. Prior to her death, she wrote directions for what she wanted done with funds she had. It was to be evenly dispersed and used for college. She had specific guidelines such as GPA, grant applications, etc that each g-kid would have to accomplish. I put the money into CD’s because I did not want to risk losing any of it. Now, is there anyway to avoid taxes?
